Capelina

  1. Kettle hat.
  2. Metal hat with a brim, similar to the Fench 'Montaubain', usually used by medieval infantry. Despite King Fernando's 1373 military equipment reforms, the capelina remained popular in Portugal till the 15th century, especially among the lower infantry.
