  1. Parish in the Estremadura region of Portugal, situated some twenty miles South of Coimbra.
  2. Location where King Fernando initially planned to gather his troops waiting to put a halt to Enrique II of Castile's invasion in 1372. In the end, the place chosen was Santarém, believing that the deeper the Castlians advanced into Portugal, the more depleated of means they would be.
