- Knight of the Order of the Band, founded by Alfonso XI of Castile (c. 1330).
- Killed in Medina del Campo on the same occasion as one of his squires and also Sancho Rodríguez Rojas, by order of Pedro of Castile, for siding with the party of Pedro's abandoned wife, Blanche of Bourbon (1355). [Pedro, ch. 16: 111-117]
