Leonor of Castile, Queen of Aragon

  1. (1307-1359) Second wife of Alfonso IV of Aragon.
  2. Daughter of Fernando IV of Castile and Constança of Portugal.
  3. Sister of Alfonso XI of Castile.
  4. Mother of Fernando, Marquis of Tortosa, and Juan, who married Isabel Núñez de Lara.
  5. Both Queen Leonor and Juana de Lara, the wife of Tello Alfonso, Lord Vizcaya and half-brother of Pedro King of Castile were killed by order of her nephew, Pedro I of Castile (1359). [Pedro, ch. 23: 97-98]
