Charles II, King of Navarre

  1. (1332-1387) Son of Philippe III of Navarre and Count of Évreux, and of Jeanne of France (the true heir of Navarre). Ruled from 1349-1387.
  2. He was known as Charles the Bad, for his treacherous dealings in politics.
  3. As a rule, Fernão Lopes refers to him as "the King fo Navarre."
