- Celebrated Castilian man-at-arms who deffended Guimarães for the Castilian faction during the 1383-1385 dynastic crisis.
- Died in a skirmish with the Portuguese when these attacked San Millán de los Caballeros (1387). This took place during the incursion into Castilian territory led by King João I of Portugal and the Duke of Lancaster.
