- (1341-1385) Born in Bretagne, Lord of Villalpando. He was also known as 'the Limousin.'
- Was a captain of the Great Companies that assisted the Trastámara monarchs to establishing their new dynasty.
- Settled in Castile, became Lord of Villalpando, and was a marshal of the Castilian army at the battle of Aljubarrota, where he was killed on August 14, 1385.
- In the Chronicle of King João I, Part 2, chapter 132, in a second list of combatants on the Castilian side killed at the battle of Aljubarrota, Fernão Lopes seems to interpret his name as belonging to two different Gascons: "Arnao" and "Lemysam".
