Porto

  1. Oporto in British English. City in northern Portugal on the mouth of the Douro river.
  2. One of the most important cities in the country, with origins in a pre-historic Celtic settlement. Main port and  commercial center.

  4. City where King João I married Philippa of Lancaster, in the medieval cathedral (1387).
