  1. Ancient city in the medieval kingdom of Aragon.
  2. Also known as Monviedro, in its long history, or Morvedre (using the Valencian dialect). Nowadays, the city is known by the even earlier name of Sagunto, going back to its Greco-Roman days.
  3. It is situated in the modern autonomous community of Valencia, on the Mediterranean coast in eastern Spain.
