Morón (de la Frontera)

  2. It is called Morón de la Frontera because in medieval times its location was close to Moorish territory.
  3. Place where Leonor Núñez de Guzmán and members of her family sought refuge after the death of Alfonso XI of Castile, her long time lover, at the siege of Gibraltar (1350).
