- Accompanied Pedro of Castile on one of his incursions into Granada, but fell prisoner to the Red Emir of Granada (1362) on the same occasion as the Master of Calatrava, Diego Garcia de Padilla.
- The Red Emir of Granada released him and the other Castilian prisoners to please Pedro of Castile and gain his favor.
