- (c.1306-1376) 3rd Earl of Arundel. English nobleman and distinguished military leader.
- Son of Edmund Fitzalan, 2nd Earl of Arundel and Alce of Warenne. Married to Isabel le Despenser in childhood, who he later repudiated, and Eleanor of Lancaster, daughter of Henry, 3rd Earl of Lancaster and Maud Chaworth.
- Joint commander of the English army in the north (1337) and sole commander the following year.
- Admiral of the North (1340-1342).
- Admiral of the Western Fleet (1345).
- One of the commanders at the Battle of Crécy.
- Admiral of England under Richard II (c. 1387).
