- (?-1344?) Member of the Galician nobility, known as Don Pedro "of the War". Son of Fernando Rodríguez de Castro and Violante Sánchez of Castile, illegitimate daughter of King Sancho IV, "the Brave", of Castile.
- His first wife was Beatriz of Portugal and Manuel, daughter of Prince Afonso of Portugal and Violante Manuel.
- His second wife was Isabel Ponce de León, by whom he fathered Fernando de Castro, and Juana de Castro, second wife of Pedro King of Castile.
- He is also the father of Inês de Castro, from a liaison with Aldonça Soares de Valadares.
