Pedro Álvares [Pereira], Prior of the Hospitalers

  1. Prior of the Hospitalers in Portugal (c. 1384), and Master of Calatrava, appointed by Juan I of Castile (1384-1385).
  2. Brother of Nuno Álvares Pereira.
  3. Sided with Juan I of Castile in his claim for the Portuguese throne, and fought at his side in the battle of Aljubarrota (1385).
