  1. (1261-1325) Son of Alfonso III of Portugal and Beatriz of Castile. Grandson of Alfonso X, 'the Wise', of Castile. Reigned from 1279.
  2. Married to Isabel of Aragon.
  3. Counted among the Portuguese medieval poets of the Cancioneiros.
  4. Signed a treaty with Fernando IV of Castile in Ágreda (1304)
