Aristotle

  1. (384 BC – 322 BC) Greek philosopher and frequent source of reference for medieval scholasticism.
  2. Among his works on biology, poetry, theater, politics, and many other fields of knowledge, he wrote one on memory and recollection, De Memoria et Reminiscentia,  which is referred to by Fernão Lopes in his Chronicle of King Pedro, chapter 29.
